Single superphosphate fertilizer is one of the first common chemical fertilizers in agriculture that led to the development of the plant nutrient industry. This substance contains several nutrients (phosphorus, sulfur and calcium) required by plants and is consumed in the form of granules and powder in the agricultural industry.
It is an excellent source of three nutrients for plants. Which is more suitable for crops such as oilseeds, horticulture, vegetables, sugarcane, rice, etc. This fertilizer is mainly used to improve root growth and chlorophyll synthesis and thus improve the quality of the product.
Also, the presence of P and sulfur (S) in simple superphosphate can have an agronomic advantage where both of these nutrients are deficient. This fertilizer is superior to other P fertilizers, usually due to the S and Ca (or both) it contains.
