Solvent 402 is actually a member of a large family of solvents known as mineral spirit or Stanford solvent or paint thinner in general. Its boiling temperature range is between 150 and 220 degrees Celsius and it has a clear color and a recognizable odor that is insoluble in water and its self-ignition temperature is 232 degrees Celsius.
